Directions
From Cape Town International Airport — about 8 km, 12 to 15 minutes
- Leave the terminal and follow the signs for Borcherds Quarry Road.
- Stay on Borcherds Quarry Road until it meets Klipfontein Road (the M17), then turn right towards Gugulethu.
- Follow Klipfontein Road and turn left into Steve Biko Drive — the old NY1, and the main road through Gugulethu.
- Continue along Steve Biko Drive. We are at number 234A, on the corner of Mkhanyisi Maphuma Street, on your right.
From the Cape Town city centre — about 18 km, 20 to 25 minutes
- Leave the city on the N2 heading east — it runs as Nelson Mandela Boulevard and then Settlers Way.
- After roughly 12 km take the Duinefontein Road off-ramp.
- Follow Duinefontein Road to Klipfontein Road and turn towards Gugulethu.
- Turn into Steve Biko Drive (the old NY1) and follow it about 2 km through Gugulethu.
- We are at number 234A, on the corner of Mkhanyisi Maphuma Street.
By public transport
Metrorail runs to Nyanga and Heideveld stations, and Golden Arrow buses run along Klipfontein Road and Steve Biko Drive. From any of these it is only a few minutes by metered taxi, and we are glad to arrange that for you so that you are collected at the door. Request a collection here.
